Ingridill\u00e4 oli jo vuonna 2003 idea tietokannasta, johon eteerisi\u00e4 \u00f6ljyj\u00e4 koskevia tietoja voisi kirjoittaa ja josta niit\u00e4 voisi etsi\u00e4 nopeasti ja helposti. Samana vuonna ensimm\u00e4inen tietokanta luotiin Microsoft Access -ohjelmalla. T\u00e4m\u00e4 versio kuitenkin sopi vain paikalliseen k\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n ja oli rajoitettu yhteen laitteeseen. Vuonna 2009 Bernhard p\u00e4\u00e4tti ohjelmoida web-pohjaisen tietokannan eteeristen \u00f6ljyjen tietokantaa varten. T\u00e4m\u00e4 ensimm\u00e4inen verkkotietokanta oli my\u00f6s h\u00e4nen opinn\u00e4ytety\u00f6ns\u00e4. T\u00e4t\u00e4 tietokannan versiota ei ollut viel\u00e4 julkisesti saatavilla.<\/p>\n

Ajan my\u00f6t\u00e4 Ingrid on aina lis\u00e4nnyt, poistanut, p\u00e4ivitt\u00e4nyt ja tutkinut uudelleen tietoja ja kuvia eteerisist\u00e4 \u00f6ljyist\u00e4. Teknisten muutosten takia tietokanta piti ohjelmoida kokonaan uusiksi vuonna 2017 ja my\u00f6s sis\u00e4lt\u00f6 tarkistettiin uudelleen. Maaliskuussa 2019 tietokanta oli lopulta valmis julkaistavaksi suurelle yleis\u00f6lle. Se ei kuitenkaan riit\u00e4: Uusia tietoja sek\u00e4 tutkimustuloksia julkaistaan ja tiede kehittyy jatkuvasti.<\/p>\n

My\u00f6s\u00a0aromainfo-kokoelman tietoja on jatkuvasti p\u00e4ivitett\u00e4v\u00e4 ja tietokannan rakennetta on pidett\u00e4v\u00e4 ajan tasalla.<\/p>\n

P\u00e4ivi Bl\u00f6chl on yksi Aromainfon kouluttajista ja Ingridin yhteisty\u00f6kumppaneista It\u00e4vallassa ja h\u00e4n on ollut mukana tietopankin saksankielisen version testaajana alusta l\u00e4htien. Koulutusmatkoillaan Suomessa P\u00e4ivilt\u00e4 on jo vuosia pyydetty kirjaa, joka toisi ajankohtaista ja uutta tietoa aromaterapiasta ja eteerisist\u00e4 \u00f6ljyist\u00e4 Suomeen. P\u00e4ivi on kuitenkin \u2013 kokemuksen syv\u00e4ll\u00e4 rinta\u00e4\u00e4nell\u00e4 \u2013 aina ollut sit\u00e4 mielt\u00e4, ett\u00e4 kirjat ovat aromaterapian alalla vain hetken aikaa ajankohtaisia. Tutkimustulosten m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4 kasvaa, kasvien tieteelliset nimet muuttuvat, tulee uusia reseptej\u00e4 \u2013 uusikin kirja j\u00e4\u00e4 hyvin nopeasti hyllyyn kun huomataan, ettei se olekaan en\u00e4\u00e4 aivan ajan tasalla. Siksi P\u00e4ivi p\u00e4\u00e4tti Ingridin ja Bernhardin kanssa k\u00e4\u00e4nt\u00e4\u00e4 tietopankin suomeksi. Koska tietokantaa uudistetaan jatkuvasti, se pysyy aina ajan tasalla ja turvallisen aromaterapian l\u00e4hteen\u00e4 suomenkielisille lukijoille.<\/p>\n
